2018 Medical Forum of Xian Hospital was successfully held in Xian Central Hospital

    On the afternoon of May 25, 2018, Medical Forum of Xi'an Hospital,which was initiated by Municipal Health Planning Commission, Municipal Medical Association and sponsored by Xi'an Central Hospital, was held in the multi-function hall. More than 240 people from the 31 presidents, chief accountants, finance chiefs and medical chiefs of Xi'an Hospital attended the forum. Dean Wei Hu presided over the meeting and delivered a welcome speech. Director Ziqiang Yan of the Medical and Health Affairs Bureau of the Municipal Health Planning Commission delivered a speech.

    The theme of the forum was “Medical Reform, Quality, and Cost”. It aimd to help the medical institutions in the city solve practical problems, strengthen the quality control of key departments, and improve the quality of medical care. At the same time, the forum also set up a platform for everyone to summarize development experience, share reform results, exchange management experience, and explore medical reform. At the forum, the lectures of the experts were wonderful: Wei Ren, Dean of Baoji Central Hospital, gave a report entitled “Practical Sharing of Public Hospital Reform Pilots”, and the chief accountant of Henan Cancer Hospital Binbin Han shared their experiences in hospital management and new medical reform with “The concept of "big finance" leads the hospital's refined management”.

    Baoji City is the first batch of public hospital reform pilot cities in the country and a pilot city for comprehensive medical reform in Shaanxi Province. As the regional medical center of Baoji City, Baoji Central Hospital has played a supporting role in the development of medical reform and health planning and family planning in the city. In his lecture, Dean Ren introduced the good practice of Baoji Central Hospital in breaking medical treatment, innovating personnel compensation system, public hospital management system, public health service management mode, medical service ability, medical security level, and improving people's medical satisfaction. Besides, he introduced the reform mode of "one break, three innovation, three promotion and one satisfaction" in baoji city.

    The chief accounting expert of Henan Province, the national accountant leader (back-up) talent, and the chief accountant of Henan Provincial Cancer Hospital Binbin Han explained the importance of establishing a “big finance” concept and a refined integrated financial big data platform in the training. He focused on the practical use of refined financial management tools, and how to build an efficient financial team. He said that with the continuous deepening of medical reform, the development of market economy regulation, hospital competition was intensifying, and operation management had become the key to success. It is necessary to implement the refined financial management concept into the fine operation management practice, lead the hospital to operate the new normal state efficiently, and make the high quality and efficiency of economic operation become the new "engine" of hospital development.
   

    Dean Wei Hu summarized: the responsibility of medical personnel is great. Just as our hospital training “morality, medical skill, harmony, innovation” said: only by doing a good job in one’s own field, insisting on being a "conscience doctor", opening a "conscience prescription", and constantly improving medical skills, can we maximize the "sense of gain" for the masses. It is hoped that through the activities of the city's medical administration forum, the construction and development of hospitals under the background of new medical reform will be further extensively and in-depth, in order to innovate the hospital management mechanism, continue to improve the performance of individuals, departments and hospitals, and jointly create a new situation of medical reform and development.
